Custom Packing Options for Artwork
Art Box – Pak Mail off the Plaza will protect the glazing with glass safety film, protect the surface of the work with glassine and place your art in bubble wrap. The item is then sandwiched between sturdy cardboard sheets and then placed into a shipping box.
Custom Art Box – Pak Mail off the Plaza will place your artwork into a double wall crate, customized to surround the painting’s frame. We then secure the surface of the work with glassine, any glazing with glass safety film and then surround the piece with foam inserts. Further protections include stretch wrap and corner and edge protection.
Custom Crates – Pak Mail off the Plaza’s onsite shop allows for customization of your shipping crate to accommodate any size. We line the surface or glazing protection with beadboard, then protect the corners and edges using foam inserts.
Custom Packing Options for Bronze
Double Box – Pak Mail off the Plaza will wrap your bronze piece with foam, which is then further secured with floated peanuts and cardboard blocking. This packaging option also comes with an inner and outer box.
Custom Double Box – This option includes beadboard inserts. Pak Mail off the Plaza will also wrap the item with foam, then create a double wall for the inner and outer boxes to keep your bronze statue secure.
Custom Crates – Pak Mail off the Plaza recommends this option for shipping delicate or large items. We will construct a custom shipping crate to accommodate the specific dimensions and weight of the piece. Your custom crate will include foam inserts, wrap, and custom blocking to keep the sculpture in place within the crate.
